January
22-23:
Introduction to Miasmatic Prescribing
with Ann Jerome Croce, PhD, CCH |
What are miasms and
how do they enter into our work as homeopaths? Especially for those
who have not studied with Henny before, this two-day seminar explains
her approach to miasms with examples and exercises to prepare participants
to make the most of her teaching.
Ann Jerome Croce
is Director of the Florida Academy of Classical Homeopathy and also
Dean of Education for the National Center for Homeopathy. A veteran
teacher in higher education as well as in homeopathy, she has been using
miasmatic analysis in her own work as a homeopath for ten years and
has taught it to students throughout the U.S. and in Central America.
Her teaching is accessible, stimulating, and good-humored, making sense
of intricate philosophical concepts and equipping students to think
for themselves.

January 24-26:
Homeopathic Treatment of Autism
with Henny Heudens-Mast |
Autism is an increasingly
prevalent diagnosis and a natural place for homeopathic care, yet it
poses unique challenges for the homeopath. Children with autism may
be hypersensitive and have multiple other issues, so these may be among
our most complex cases. Moreover, autism can be such an eclectic diagnosis
that it is difficult to identify characteristic symptoms in order to
find the correct remedy. Finally, the depth of the autism case makes
the management of these cases a delicate art.
Working from the
miasmatic foundation can be the key to lasting success in treating autism.
Miasmatic clues to the most fundamental basis of the disorder help to
individualize these cases, guiding us to the remedy; also, they draw
the blueprint for long-term case management as the miasmatic picture
will shift over time.
This three-day seminar
will focus on real cases to ground Henny’s teaching about the
miasms. Live cases will provide practice in miasmatic case analysis
under Henny’s guidance, and video examples from her practice will
illuminate her teaching of differential materia medica.
Henny’s teaching
is gracious, accessible, logical, and compassionate, providing not only
information but also inspiration and confidence. Henny has managed many
and complex cases of autism, and she brings to this seminar a depth
of knowledge that few in the world can equal. Forty years’ experience
in homeopathy gives Henny a wealth of practical information and eyewitness
testimony, and she remains grateful for the wonder of homeopathy and
communicates this with sparkle and humor.
Henny teaches regularly
to sold-out audiences throughout Europe and Scandinavia and has contributed
as founder and board member to organizations to foster quality education
in homeopathy.
Students new to Henny’s
work are encouraged to read her book, The Foundation of the Chronic
Miasms in Homeopathic Prescribing, and/or to attend the two-day Introduction
to Miasmatic Prescribing seminar prior to attending this one.

January 27-28:
12th annual live case seminar
with Henny Heudens-Mast |
This seminar is unlike
any other. For over a decade, Henny has been demonstrating miasmatic
prescribing with live cases that represent the range in a typical practice
– and with years of live follow-up on each case. How do we navigate
through the second and third prescription, decide when a remedy is needed
and when it is not, and assess and anticipate the twists and turns that
a case can take over time? With the courage and generosity to reveal
her work live and first-hand as these cases evolve, Henny harnesses
homeopathy’s insights into the nature of health and disease to
provide practical guidance for following a case toward real cure.
New students are
most definitely welcome to this seminar, and every effort is made to
acquaint them with the ongoing cases. The seminar will include both
new and follow-up cases, as time permits.
The introductory seminar January 22 and 23 provides 14 classroom hours
toward certification. The seminars January 24 through 28 may be counted
as either classroom or clinical training hours. Please inquire for details.
These
seminars provide CEU credits for Florida Acupuncture Physicians, School
Psychologists, and Dietician/Nutritionists. Please inquire for details.
